Presenting Gazettes to a global audience requires captivating and informative communication. It’s the job of our Creative team to shape and maintain the visual details of Gazettes. More than just capturing photos for us, the team works with the Executive Editor to support content design for our website, social media and periodicals.

The Art Director reports to the Executive Editor and is responsible for:

• Conceptualizing and developing marketing, branding and design projects using both traditional and new formats;
• Partnering across functional units to bring the latest technologies and formats;
• Inspiring Gazettes as a whole in the use of new creative technologies;
• Effectively presenting work if inquired by Managing Director and Vice President;
• Brainstorming and suggesting visual concepts that reflect strategic business goals;
• Working with the Chief Photographer on digital media and periodicals;
• Finding digital vendors, external photographers and illustrators when needed.

The ideal candidate has:

• In-house studio and artistic experience;
• Degree in design, creative or communication arts;
• Knowledge of digital design trends;
• Familiarity with digital production techniques and multimedia tools;
• Management ability and organizational skills;
• Ability to think strategically and creatively;
• Ability to present work effectively to senior execs;
• Ability to produce under pressure.
